Each of us has this ability to feel emotions. Only few of us are comfortable with them. Many show them to get attention and sympathy. Many hide them to present strength and independence.

Visions of Peace

Long romantic walks along the river banks watching doves soar above while beautiful swans float along the shallow clear water. The sounds of the waves gently carressing the rocks are voices of angels singing a lullabye. Leaves rustling with the wind upon their mighty branches of the grand oak tree hovering beneath the sun. Birds calling to each other in a friendly hello while fish play splash games in the lake below. Sounds not normal for the city life but a breath of fresh air taking your mind to a place where high rises and trains were only a dream away. The white victorian cast iron bench and bluebells give the sense of pure romance and innocence. The pathway is lined with wild flowers and weeping willow trees and small creatures adding to the peaceful ambience of the moment. Listen to the trickling brook and the sounds of nature as they lull you into a deep refreshing sleep. Ah the peace and the quiet of a far away land in a far away place in your memory.... End of an era

6/7/2005 5:12 AM Where once life was happy and free its now a place one would rather not be.   Where once was trust among friends there's now no friends left to trust.   Privacy is no longer sacred It's a free for all to destroy ones reputation.   Soon the truth will be known but the friendship will be gone. Regardless of the outcome.   A person's character is their soul Once that is doubted it destroys deep within.   Nothing left to salvage Nothing kind left to say Such is the way of life.   Truth of life is this... Love doesn't exist It merely fakes out the weak and destroys the strong.   It's a waste of time It's a waste of energy   Time has come to destroy all emotion and memories that have caused so much harm.   The end of an era, a final farewell. This is a soul saying so long, This is a final Good Bye...   But... It's also a birth, a birth of sarcasm a birth of a heartless emotion.   Beware and watch... The tides a'coming and it's coming hard..

Tid Bits!

3/23/2005 7:00 PM Life tends to hand us all a bit of rough edges here and there. Sometimes it's hard to smooth out those edges and sometimes the waters stay rough longer than intended.   Slavery ended many many years ago, yet why do so many still act like slave masters and order people around as if they are inferior human beings. We are not without feelings and no one deserves to be treated as if they are beneath their station in life.   The best way to "get along" or to even obtain forgiveness is simple. All it takes is a simple hug just to say "I'm sorry". It's also a good thing to make sure the hug is genuine and not one of force just to get your way.   Ultimatums do not work in the art of getting someone to listen to what you have to say. If you want someone to listen, perhaps talk to them like a human being with intelligence and feelings and not as if they were an inferior species. What will it hurt to let your feelings be known. If you care enough to make the first move to resolve a conflict then by all means care enough to also make the second one. Sometimes it takes 3 moves before you see positive results.    Remember this! One day you'll need someone to help you and what if that person is your worst enemy? It's best to mend things now then to wait until it's too late.     The end of the world is coming. Do you want to be left out in the cold with no place to go or do you want to make sure that there's always an open door somewhere.     It seems that when life is at stake friends run away and become selfish while enemies open their hearts and their doors to your needs.     Don't ever underestimate the power of asking for forgiveness. Sometimes the worst of enemies become the best of friends. It's true!

Sunlight's Dance

SunLight's Dance The light shone through the window like a breadth of fresh air, illuminating the room within. Its brilliant light capturing shadows of art along the wall, making the room seem somewhat magical. The breeze from the open window, the swaying of the curtains added depth to the magical dance of Sunlight. You can hear the music playing outside from the winds sweet phrases, the birds adding melody to the song of Nature.

A True Hearts Wish

Trying to hide the hurt of the heart. Not knowing what to feel or think. Wishing for patience waiting for hope. Confusion setting in with no answers in sight. Watching a name appear and remaining silent. Wishing for conversations like in the beginning. Yet sitting here just watching the screen. Not making a sound not making a move. Simply waiting for them to decide this fate. Unable to speak words once spoken. 3 words from the heart stuck on a tongue. Kept silent in wait until destiny is revealed. Hugs kept at bay yet wishing to hold tight. A tiny one hidden deep within wishes a family. One that doesn't require weekend visits. But only God knows what destiny holds. Only he can lay out the road ahead. So I sit watching the screen often wondering. What thoughts he's thinking... Wondering if he sometimes miss... The laughter, the talks, the smiles that came easy, The hopes of something too magical to imagine. So again in silence I sit just watching what happens next. Hoping he'll say hi once in awhile. These are only wishes of mine... Not up to me to make them true. I can only send prayers and hope for the best.

Do tears ever really stop?

Will the tears ever stop? Will the heart stop loving? Why must one pretend everything is ok? When in fact nothing has changed. Why must this torture endure? Why do memories continue to haunt? Is there any relief insight? Must this silent hurt forever exist? Pretending to hate, pretending not to care... Has taken it's toll on this conscience. To the point that only guilt remains. Love doesn't simply disappear at a moments notice. If it does, it was never really there anyway. Perhaps that's why there's guilt. Perhaps that's why tears have returned. Hiding the hurt just too much to handle. Do tears really stop? Or do they just hide from view? Does Love ever really go away?

The Walk!

Admist the trail of flowers I walk, Remembering what used to be, The laughter, the fun, the closeness. Each stone I come across tells a bit of history. The couple who held each other til their final hour, The little girl who only wanted peace for all, The tiny baby silently chosen for golden wings, Then deep in the corner beneath the weeping willow, An empty space waiting for the one walking in the clouds. Each step saw tears and sadness at a life cut short. Walking among the flowers with tears in my eyes, I see all the missed opportunities that never came to be. Silence among the roses reflect the heart of woes. The tranquility of this place is mixed with tears. For this walk I take among these flowers gently reflects life. The cemetary of those who loved to deeply found their peace.
