She Misses him

From: LaurenR_1(Original Message)Sent: 4/15/2002 12:41 PM

She whispers in the Dark
But he cannot hear her words
She gently strokes the pillow where his head should be laying
But he cannot feel her hand.
Her heart sinks whenever she hears his voice or feels his presence
But he does not know it
Her tears fall quietly down her cheeks as she remembers him (his hands) caressing her face
But he cannot see them.
She misses him.

What a difference in a persons life it can make. You sweet Lauren have made such a difference in mine and all your friends.

From just knowing you. I see such beauty of the greatest value in you. I'm privliged to call you my friend too.

His Sacrifice (4/12/02)

From: LaurenR_1 (Original Message)Sent: 4/12/2002 3:51 PM

She kneels before him with outstretched hands
offering up her heart to him
He turns his head with tears in his eyes
for he cannot accept her most unselfish gift.
He must go off into battle to fight his most viscious enemy (himself)
not knowing if he'll ever return to the one
who loves him
unconditionally,selflessly,wholeheartedly.
Knowing there is no other like her,
He makes the ultimate sacrifice.
He closes his eyes and holds her close to his heart
as he walks toward his destiny,
leaving her brokenhearted on the floor.

Eagles in Flight

Mar 31, '02 4:10 AM by môôήlïgђt-ðέligђt

Eagles in Flight with Angels

Flying high above the clouds with their wings spread wide,
The Eagles flew in numbers across the sky.
Traveling through some distant lands.
How happy they are flying amongst the
Angels that are guiding them home.
Home to where freedom lies with in their
wings.
Soaring through Heaven and back again.
What wonderful creatures.
Eagles and Angels, Each special in their own way.

River OF Tears

River OF Tears
Hidden Deep within the Eyes,
Beyond the happiness,
Beyond the soul,
Lies a river of sorrow,
Of tears shed through out the years,
Broken promises,
Hurtful words tearing at the very heart of us all...
Utter lonliness at the thought of a loved one departed.
Hopelessness that will rip apart our very souls.
These things brings sadness into the deepest part of our souls...
Causing this river of tears.
So if happiness comes your way,
Treasure it as the most precious gift of life...
For it just may be the cure that will dry up that river,
Lying deep with in all of us...

The Heart By Cath

catherine47 (Original Message)Sent: 2/16/2002 2:56 PM

What is the one greatest thing in this life beyond compare, that links us to one another as humans that care.

Its called the Heart we each have one. It's how you use, when its all said and done.

If you wear a heart well others will see. The goodness of its depth as God intended it to be.

For each unique heart is created gently, molded in love, by wonderous hands from heaven above.

Each heart merits value, a very substanial great worth, from the single moment of one's life at birth.

Each of us, we travel life's longest road, Do we keep a heart, warm, open for others to behold.

The beauty in the heart is accumulated not through monetary riches of a life one lives,

The real beauty of the heart is measured by how much it can give.

Accepting ,tolerant, without prejudice, open and free, For when a heart's worn as so, its beauty we see.

Moonlight's Miracle was published October of 2000. Magical Light will be published spring of 2002.

Moonlight's Miracle

Romance and moonlight go hand and hand.
Both need the other to create the perfect ambiance.
The light of the moon shining on the water
leading a path for young couples in love
to strengthen their bond and restore their spirit.
Many an engagement occurs under the moon's
magic glow, setting the right mood for the blessed event.
Without the moon romance will die
and no longer will lovers find true love.
In order for true romance to blossom there must be a moon nearby.

*[a.] Sterling Heights, MI [title] "Moonlight's Miracle" [pers.] I am so glad to have been chosen for this honor. My grandma would have been very proud. She passed away on October 23 of this year. She was a marvelous storyteller and poet herself. It was her creativity that inspired me to write my own poems. I've written countless poems and short stories. This will be the first time my work will be seen by the public. I am truly blessed to have been chosen for this book. Romance is my favorite topic, for I never run out of ideas. I dedicate this poem to my beloved grandmother for her guidance and inspiration.

Magical Light

The Glow from the Moonlight,
Shining Soft and Bright,
Enchanted those upon the Water,
With Pure Delight.

Smiling Faces Toward the Sky,
To See the Magic of the Night,
Hearts Filled WIth Love,
Bursting at the Sight.

The Stream of Sparkling Light,
Flowing across The Great Divide,
Neverending, So it seems,
Glowing Forever, Without a Fight.

Eagles in Flight,
With Wings Spread Wide,
Adding Shadows Calming The Sea,
On This Magical Moonlit Night.
