Peace

Where shall we find the peace we so desperately need? Perhaps only in our minds eye? Perhaps peace only exists in fairytales of long ago! Nothing ventured is nothing gained, leading me to believe that perhaps peace is something that needs to be sought after rather then obtained freely? What more can be said on a feeling of tranquility that seems to be so far and few between? A wish for long ago picnics, for smooth flowing rivers, and the carefree days when romance was pure and without malice!  ~Peace~ Something to be desired in this weakened heart!

A "girl" named Sue

From the island of the Irish; A surprise to see her face; A gentle smile and a kiss; My heart leaped at her grace. At a time my heart was breaking; She showed me how to unbreak; Her smile, her winks, her laughter; All gave me such feeling of cheer. For months on end she's been my rock; My true one to lean my heart on; Our friendship with its strong bond; Fear and lonliness seem all but gone. Sometimes wishing for a little more; Knowing there can never be more; Yet, sadness doesn't appear with her; She brightens my life just that much more. Perhaps one day fate will intervene; Her heart of gold will always gleam; Always bringing me a happy glee; She glows and shines through me. A movie title named for her; Though silly in its words; For not a boy represents her; My giggleness is because of her; She dances in my dreams; Cheering me through bad dreams; Laughing with me in happy dreams; I'm glad to have her in my dreams.

If tomorrow never comes

If I knew it would be the last time that i'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in tighter and pray the Lord,your soul to keep. If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more. If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word so I could play them back day after day. If I knew it would be the last time,I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say love you instead of assuming you would KNOW i do. If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day well i'm sure you'll have so many more,so I can let just this one slip away. For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight and we always get a second chance to make everything right. There will always be another day to say our,"I love you's," and certainly there's another chance to say our."Anything i can do's?" But just in case i might be wrong,and today is all i get I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,young or old alike,and today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight. So if you're waiting for tomorrow,why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes,you'll surely regret the day, That you didn't take that extra time for a smile,a hug, or a kiss and you were to busy to grant someone,what turned out to be their one last wish. While you were sleeping

When your there and I'm here, I'd wish i was there or you here to hold. I know your in bed and start thinking, How pretty you must be while your sleeping. You look peaceful while your hearts beating Never did you know that one day you'd meet someone, someone that will make you smile and laugh again and wipe away those tears. A Prayer Answered

Someone asked God to send them a mate, Aday,a week,and a month go by,and ya think he forgot the date. So you asked him again with your heart in mind, and you'd hope that he wouldn't waste no time. Your unhappy and lonely as he can see, then one day he brought you to me. You longed for someone to hold you,and to take away the pain. Little did you know he sent me to you on that special day. He sent you happiness and joy on that one nite,and when you held him you knew it was right. So now you say thanks for the gift you got and your heart will be happy now as it ought. I'll be there again when you call on me, just look in your heart and you will see. I'll be there again to help with your sorrow, so lean on me and i'll wipe the tears away. Sleep

Pure and simple and yet sometimes hard to attain. It's that precious place we go to rest our eyes. Dreams of trips taken  by plane or train. A word that takes us away from your lives. And what would this thing be? The one thing that always seems to be not enough...   Sleep

STOP! Step back! Look outside!

There's a world out there, A nature's beauty to share, Calmness floating in the air, Let the wind carry you there.   Watch the leaves flit and sway, Gently floating silently away, Shadows released by the sun's ray, Troubles slowly drifting away.   Watch the sunset hide away, While the moonbeams have their say, Starlights twinkle through the haze, Carrying all our fears away.   For a moment we can forget the wear, Of the fear that shadowed there, Open your eyes and feel the air, Gently washing away your cares.   So... Stop! Step back! Take a refreshing look outside, today, Let the air wash those fears away!

Tears that flow gently down my face, Full of happiness thinking of you beside me, Tears of joy are these I shed. Friends and family I see here, Bring about happiness and good cheer. So with open arms I welcome all. Tears of joy you bring to me; My Cherished Family!

A Hearts Tears

Tears seem abundant today. Sometimes much sensitivity stands in the way of happiness. A dying heart in the depths of darkness. Despair and turmoil around every bend. Will it ever end, this unhappiness of souls? Sadness overwhelms me today. Something of which I know not the reason why. Friends seem to disappear at my expense, tho I know not what I have done. Tears unstopping, flow down my cheeks, fear and hurt race through my heart. If only I knew the cause of this "anger". This "hurt". Was it something I've done? A heavy heart hangs over me, tears that won't stop engulf me. This feeling: I've made others unhappy is too much to bear.  Hugs of comfort are required. Shoulders for tears, strength and stability are needed. Tears are plenty today, with no means of ceasing.

In God's Heart!

In God's heart there is only love and kindness. In the hearts of man there is confusion and judgment. Why do people often forget the heart of God? If more people would erase all but love and kindness. There would be no fights nor anger. There would only be love and happiness. Romance is deep within the heart. Only those with a deep love can experience it. Many push it away and still others merely ignore it. Love always has second chances which no one can stop. If it's meant to be God will find a way to make is so. Don't stop what God decides to put together.

Does true love still exist?

Where's the romance that once roamed the earth? Has it disappeared forever? Is it hidden among the darken hills? Does true love even exist or is it only one sided? Years and years have gone bye. Love seems to slip away. Very few have the power of the true form of love. I certainly wish it would revive and render happiness. It's my truest wish to see love returned. Hopefully this isn't the end of it. Hopefully a sequel to this will soon be returned...

Do you believe in Angels?

Can you feel me? Can you see me? Do you know how much I care? Have you sensed my presence? Do you believe in me? Do you know I'm taking care of you? Do you know I'm watching over you?   I'm your Angel pure and true. Silently watching over you. Making dreams pleasant and true! I touch so many hearts yet remain untouched! I see so much yet am not seen by all! In the eyes of a child is where you'll see my grace! I care so very deeply yet silently I sit upon my cloud sprinkling sunlight Into the hearts of all who believe in me!   Next time you look out your window and see sunlight It may well be an Angel sprinkling Love from up above Smiling upon the souls of so many!   Can you feel me now? Do you know I'm here for you? Can you see me now? I'm always here with you!

Forever!

Forever and a day I long for thee! My heart breaks away from thee! If only I can hold you near me. If only I could make you see, The love that comes from being. I wish so much for friendly beings. This is the life I seek.   Forever and I day I wish, to be seen. With you is where I long to be. Within your arms for all to see. My heart races at the thought of thee. Forever and a day I think of thee. Is how I wish to set you free.   Forever and a day....... Your love is what I seek.

"When it rains, it pours."

"When it rains, it pours."   Tears fall like rain, Nothing to stop the pain, Sadness sweeping the plains, Like an ancient plague.   Why must the world be so cruel? What happened to sunny skies? Have they all disappeared? Are they gone forever?   Will it always be dark and gloomy? When will the rain stop pouring? I remember when the sun used to shine, When the flowers bloomed with a smile.   Will those days ever return? Will these tears stop flowing? Gift from a Tender Hand

Sweetly I touch your face, Gently I touch your soul. A miracle I bring to thee. Smiles to rest upon thy face. A heart of tears I wash away, to bring happiness from far away. Life's dim light brighter at the sight of me. Take my hand and trust in me, I'll take you to a better place.

A Souls new beginning!

Why must tears flow like rain,  Why must there be pain, Because of words said in vain. Words that can't be taken away, Words that shouldn't have been said. Fear causing misjudgments, Misjudgements causing pain, Pain causing tears, Tears flowing like rain, At words causing pain.

Gentle Hugs!

Gentle hugs to soothe the pain, Silent tears shed like rain, Wishing the hurt would go away, Gentle smiles to soothe the soul, Shoulders warm to take the fall, Of gentle tears to trickle so, In these arms of a gentle heart, Lay those fears gently away. Gentle Hugs to soothe the pain, Let the tears gently fall, These arms will take it all, Hoping to erase the pain!
